KfW’s podcast “Ausgesprochen nachhaltig”
Together with akzente, KfW Bankengruppe developed its sustainability communication and published the first episode of its podcast “Ausgesprochen nachhaltig” in August 2019.
How do you bring sustainability issues to a wider audience? KfW expert Alexander Baunach talks to thinkers once a month about solutions to urgent problems – from ocean plastic to climate change and social inequality. The podcast serves as a platform to discuss challenges, opportunities and innovations for sustainable development.
Together with our partner studio36 in Berlin, we support the KfW Bankengruppe in the conception and implementation of the podcast. The podcast is aimed at the public interested in sustainability and the employees of the banking group.
As host, Alexander Baunach invites people from KfW as well as external initiators from business, politics, science and civil society to join the discussion. He discussed the topic of gender equality with, for example, Dr Bettina Orlopp, Member of the Board of Managing Directors of Commerzbank, and Dr. Saskia Juretzek, Senior Manager Sustainability at Allianz.
Six episodes were published in 2019. In 2020, “Ausgesprochen nachhaltig” enters the season two. It deals with climate neutrality, biodiversity, sustainability and digitalization. Dr Günther Bräunig, Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of KfW, has been selected as one of the discussion partners. We are pleased to have established the format and continue to support the banking group in its implementation.
